Sponsorship Opportunities
Mobile Markets (~ $3,500)
Support a mobile food market serving approximately 200 military attached households with generally a week’s worth of groceries. The sponsorship helps cover the costs of food, transportation, packing materials, distribution supplies, and other logistics needed to bring essential food resources directly into the community. Aside from inclusion and acknowledgement on each event’s marketing materials, the supporting corporation, business, civic organization, faith community, or group is also provided the opportunity to participate directly in the food-distribution event; there is capacity for 10-16 volunteers to assist with the distribution day’s activities. By sponsoring the mobile food market, your organization helps reduce food insecurity while creating a meaningful team-building and community-service experience. Together, sponsors and volunteers help ensure that veterans, active-military and their families receive food with dignity, respect, and care.

Holiday Meal Kit Distributions (~ $2,000)
A Holiday Meal Kit sponsorship helps provide holiday meal kits to approximately 200 military attached households experiencing food insecurity; multiple sponsorships per holiday and available holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sponsorship funds support food, packaging, transportation, outreach, and distribution logistics. The sponsoring corporation or group may also provide volunteers to help pack and distribute meal kits, creating a meaningful hands-on opportunity to support veterans, active-military and their families during the holiday season.

Community Collection Bucket
Sponsor an ongoing Community Collection Bucket at your business, school, faith community, service club, civic organization, or other community-based site. Encourage visitors, employees, members, and neighbors to donate critical non-perishable foods such as meals in a can or box, canned proteins, soups, fruits, vegetables, beans, rice, pasta, cereal, and other shelf-stable staples. Sponsors monitor the collection bucket and are responsible for transporting donated items to Midwest Veterans Closet. Donations are then sorted and distributed to veterans, active-duty military personnel, military spouses, and their families experiencing food insecurity.

Food and Supply Drive
Sponsor a Non-Perishable Food & Supply Drive to support veterans, active-duty military personnel, military spouses, and their families. Faith-based organizations, student groups, service clubs, civic organizations, Eagle Scout candidates, businesses, and other community groups can collect non-perishable food, personal-care products, and household supplies to support and bac-fill inventory at Midwest veterans Closet. This is a meaningful service and community-outreach opportunity that allows groups to work together while providing practical support to military-connected households experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship.
