How to Give to Midwest Veterans Closet

Giving to Midwest Veterans Closet offers a way to connect directly with the practical needs of veterans and active-duty military personnel. Midwest Veterans Closet is a 501(c)3 non-profit and your gift can be used as a tax deductible donation.

Donors will receive acknowledgement of their donation at the time of the donation. Giving through our digital platform, Bloomerang, is processed at the point of transaction and a receipt will be generated via email. 

Checks by mail or in person will receive a receipt following their processing. Due to the high volume of traffic in the organization, gifts processed in person may take up to 30 days for processing. Receipts processed via check will have receipt sent to the recipient by USPS mail.

Memorial Donations

Donations may be made in memory of or in honor of a friend or loved one. If the gift is memorializing an individual, be sure to note “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” of the person being honored in the memo line of the check or via your online transaction. 

If you would like receipt of that gift to go to both you and the family of the recipient, please be sure to include notation of the best contact for the person being honored and the way they may be reached with notation of your gift. Please note that these recipients are only informed of your gift, gift amounts are not disclosed to any party other than the gift’s giver.
